Fomatec smoke hatches are installed where there is a requirement for smoke ventilation. Fomatec is supplied with a weather-resistant, UV-protected, durable cover with a long lifespan.

COST-EFFECTIVE AND FLEXIBLE SOLUTION

Tests conducted adhere to the approved and mandated NS 12101-2 standard. The product is CE approved and certified. The hatches come with an electric 24/48 V motor and an advanced control panel with battery backup. Fomatec is supplied with a 70 mm insulated frame. Certified sizes are up to 1200×2400 mm (WxL) with a frame height of 300 mm or 500 mm.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The smoke hatches are equipped with an electric 24/48 V motor and an advanced control panel with battery backup.

Upon activation of the fire alarm or manual release, the hatch opens at least 140 degrees, drawing smoke out of the building. This makes personnel evacuation safer and easier while delaying or completely eliminating flashover. The hatch is also approved for daily ventilation.
